TMC demands immediate roll back of fuel price, LPG cooking gas

PANJIM: The Goa Trinamool Congress Party (TMC) on Tuesday organised a candle march protest in the capital city demanding immediate roll back of rising prices of fuel and LPG cooking gas.

The protest started from the petrol pump, situated near the ferryboat point and marched to the Azad Maidan, Panjim where the members lit candles at the Martry’s memorial. 

Around 20 TMC members including former MLA Lavoo Mamledar, N Shivdas, Swati Kerkar and others took part. 

They condemned the Union government for hiking prices of petrol of diesel and LPG cylinders, which had touched a record high and demanded that the prices be rolled back and relief be provided to the common man.
