Tourist rescued from drowning at Candolim

CALANGUTE, NOV 8 A 22-year-old tourist from Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, was rescued from drowning by Drishti lifeguards at Candolim Beach on Saturday. According to Drishti reports, Suresh Kumar was rescued by the Drishti Surf Life Team of lifeguards, Shashibhushan Nayak and Dinanath Halankar.

A 22-year-old tourist from Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, was rescued from drowning by Drishti lifeguards at Candolim Beach on Saturday.
According to Drishti reports, Suresh Kumar was rescued by the Drishti Surf Life Team of lifeguards, Shashibhushan Nayak and Dinanath Halankar.
The tourists from Coimbatore were swimming in a no-swim zone despite warnings by the lifeguards. Sensing danger to their lives, the Drishti lifeguards stationed at the spot for rescue operations in any eventuality.
Soon, one them, Suresh, was seen struggling in deep waters. Lifeguards Shashibhushan and Dinanath rescued him.
