SGPDA Chairman Wilfred D’Sa said there is likelihood that to bypass testing of fish, ‘the traders may go and sell the fish outside’
“We have spoken to the Superintendent of Police (South SP), District Collector and Margao Municipality to make sure traders doesn’t sell fish outside,” said D’Sa.
He added that because of lack of planning during the initial days of market opening, the traders who came with fish, sold it outside and left. “The SGPDA will have to start allowing the trucks inside early so that all the stock is tested,” he added.
