MARGAO: A day after rail traffic on the route was throw out of gear following of a train on the Central railway, trains again began running on the Konkan Railway route since early Monday morning.
The Matsygandha Express and other trains left Margao on the KR route in the wee hours of Monday, even as the rail route on the Central railway was cleared for traffic at around 5 this morning.
KRC Sr Manager, Public relations, Baban Ghatge said that all the trains, including the Margao-Mumbai and the long distance trains, which were either cancelled or diverted on Sunday, ran on the KR route on Monday.
