VALPOI: Heavy traffic jam was witnessed at Chorla Ghat due to diversion of heavy vehicles after closure of Anmod Ghat for road widening work. The traffic police took almost three hours to clear the traffic jam.
It is pertinent that the North Goa Collector has banned heavy vehicles from plying on Chorla Ghat road from March 20 to September 30, 2019. Despite the ban, many heavy vehicles are still plying on the road.
