Trailer driver arrested

Bicholim police has arrested the 40-year-old trailer driver, who was involved in the mishap that killed a motorcycle rider at Nanoda-Bicholim on Monday.
According to police, Ramesh D Shetye from Radhanagari-Kolhapur was on Wednesday arrested for parking his trailer in a wrong manner on the road.
It may be recalled that one Shrikant Masso Gawas from Pikule-Dodamarg, Maharashtra, but residing at Ganeshpuri-Mapusa died, after his motorcycle rammed into a stationary trailer at Nanoda-Bicholim on Monday night.
Gawas died on the spot due to head injury. The driver was arrested and later released on bail. Bicholim PSI Ritesh Tari is investigating the case.
