Trio held for overstaying
CALANGUTE, JAN 22 (HC) — Two Iraqis and a Swiss were arrested by Anjuna Police on Saturday on charges of overstaying in the country.
According to Anjuna Police, two Iraqi Nationals, Shagsayegh Reza Nazri (32) and her brother Armen Reza Nazri (22), were found without valid documents like passport and visa. Both were residing at Kuddos Vaddo in Arpora.
A Swiss national, Pfeiffor Rozer (44), was also arrested by Anjuna Police at Vagator on similar charges.
The three accused have been booked under the Foreigner’s Act and have been remanded to judicial custody. PSI Videsh Pilgaonkar is investigating the case.
