PONDA:Civil Supplies Minister Govind Gaude, along with Officials conducted a raid at Kundaim Industrial Estate on one private run godown and seized a truck involved in transporting wheat from a government godown in Cortalim.
The truck was seized when it was trying to unload the wheat to a private godown at Kundaim.
Gaude told Herald that the truck driver was found to be without a licence and he did not have any papers.
“We are conducting a full inquiry into this illegal transportation from a Government run godown to Kundaim without documents and we have asked the police to seize the loaded truck,” he said. “Government is committed to providing quality foodgrains and proper action on this matter will be taken.”
