The truck owners had taken loans from private companies to buy trucks and machinery, but they could not avail the OTS as there was confusion at the head offices of those companies regarding clearing of loans. The meeting will be held at 4.30 pm in the gram panchayat hall, Kothambi-Pali.
NGTOA President Mahesh Gawas informed that some nationalized banks, cooperative banks and co-op societies were offering OTS to several truck owners who had taken loans from them. Additionally, some private finance companies were reluctant to accept OTS.
