MARGAO: Tulshidas Naik was unanimously declared elected as the President of South Goa Bharatiya Janata Party by Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant who said there were many challenges ahead for the new team that will be taking over the party organization.
Presently only the president has been announced and other team members will be declared shortly said former MP Narendra Sawaikar. Most leaders enthused with the crowd kept talking about winning the South Goa MP seat one again.
Dr Pramod in his address pointed out that the Zilla panchayat elections are likely to be held on 15th March and the same will be on party symbols. “Hence the South Goa team has the task of ensuring that most of the candidates elected to ZP are from BJP,” he said.
Soon thereafter he said will be the municipal elections where again BJP candidates have to emerge victorious.
Dr Pramod reiterated that Goa supports BJP and Narendra Modi on the CAA issue and said that is why a massive rally of at least 1000 persons from each constituency will march in Panjim on January 3.
