Ponda: Ponda police arrested two suspects in connection with the kidnapping of 13-year-old girl a native of UP but currently residing at Deepnagar, Curti.
According to police the girl went missing since January 15 and her father had filed a missing complaint at the Ponda Police Station suspecting that his daughter was kidnapped. Her father had given the names of the suspect to the police following which the police arrested Akram Ansari (26) a native of Gorakhpur, UP and presently residing at Haveli, Curti.
After police arrested him the police took into custody the missing girl who was found at Varkhandem, Ponda in a house owned by his friend Amrutlal Nishad (28).
Police took the custody of the girl and later send her to Apna Ghar as girl was reluctant to go with her parents.
Both the accused have been remanded by court. Police are conducting further investigation in the matter.
