VASCO: After two persons were stopped by the Mormugao Municipal Council from erecting shacks on Baina beach on Thursday, the affected on Friday obtained a court order restraining the municipality from interfering with their work.
The two women shack owners who have got allotted shack from the Tourism Department on Baina beach had started erecting the structures on beach on Thursday. But the municipality had ordered them to stop the work citing that they haven’t obtained permission from the municipality to start the work.
Therefore, the two women moved the court and obtained a stay order against the municipality on Friday.
