PANJIM/MAPUSA: A constable attached to Panjim Traffic Cell and his alleged lover, a lady constable at Old Goa police station, have been suspended.
High drama prevailed in the middle of the road at Guirim as the Panjim traffic constable’s wife caught him in a compromising position with his paramour in a car. The car had dark tinted glasses.
In a video that has now gone viral, the male constable who was partially unclothed was with his female colleague in the car when his wife caught them. The constable was then seen assaulting his wife by the road side, an act captured on video. A police complaint was filed against him (male constable) as Mapusa police registered a non cognisable complaint against him.
Subsequently, Goa Police issued an order suspending both the constables pending a departmental inquiry.
