MARGAO: Abdul Nahim, 28, from Hubballi, and Ijaz Javed Shaikh, 22, from Chandrawadda, Fatorda, were arrested by Fatorda Police for possessing drugs worth Rs 1.10 lakh.
Abdul Nahim was found with 1.10 kg of ganja, while Ijaz Shaikh had 60 grams of ganja. PSI Atikesh Khedekar filed a complaint, alleging that the accused were found with the illegal substances behind Durga Petrol Pump, Fatorda. An offense under Section 20(b)(ii)(B) and 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS) Act, 1985.
