MAPUSA: Anjuna police on Monday arrested two persons namely Kasmir Singh, a native of Amritsar, Punjab and Swadesh Mishra for allegedly running an online sex racket and rescued 3 victim girls.
According to PI Chetan Patil, Kasmir was wanted for running an online sex racket since last December. On Monday, Anjuna police received information that the accused has restarted the online sex racket.
Accordingly, a police team was formed and both the accused were arrested near the Baga Bridge. The police also rescued a victim girl. Later the accused revealed that he had kept more two girls in two different hotels at Baga. Police rescued the victim girls and sent them to the protective home at Merces.
