Two held for dumping waste on road

The Colva police have arrested two persons under the Indian Police Act for dumping waste along the road leading to St John the Baptist Church, Benaulim.
The police action came after the locals noticed a vehicle dumping waste at the site early Monday morning. The police provided the names of the duo as Pascoal Rodrigues and Prakash Kamarkar. This not the first time that this road is used for waste dumping.
In the past, local youth had laid trap to unscrupulous elements dumping waste along the road.
