CANACONA: A senior citizen suffered grievous injuries, while his wife suffered a fracture to her leg after their scooter was knocked down by an Innova car on NH-17, at Mokardamoll-Bhatpal in Canacona, on Wednesday.
According to Canacona police, the Innova, driven by one Abdul Mazid, aged 22 years, knocked down from behind a Hero Honda motorcycle which was proceeding in the same direction. Mazid is a resident of Indira Nagar, Morombi-Pequeno in Chimbel.
