Two trucks with firewood seized

BICHOLIM: Bicholim range forest officials confiscated two trucks carrying illegal firewood after a short chase at Vithalapur in Sanquelim. Acting on a tip off, forest official instructed the two trucks to stop for checking when they reached Sanquelim. However, the trucks speeded off without stopping resulting in the chase. Trucks drivers Suryakant Ugvekar from Dodamarg and Vijay Naik from Kasai Dodamarg were also arrested.
