MARGAO: An unknown person died after being run over by a train at Barcem, Quepem on Monday.
According to the Konkan Railway Police, based on the information, Police Sub Inspector (PSI) Arun Taleker visited the spot and found a body of an unknown person having injuries on the forehead and right rib cage.

The police said the deceased seems to be a labourer and might have fallen accidentally from a running train.
Police further conducted scene cum inquest panchanama around the body.
The body has been sent to the district hospital for post mortem.
