PONDA: The newly elected Usgao comunidade committee has urged the public not to fall prey to “illegal, money-making tactics” of persons who had grabbed comunidade land and were selling the same with the help of forged stamps of the Usgao comunidade.
At a press briefing recently, comunidade president Kishore Prabu said that people who were interested in buying plots for their houses should be cautious and verify documents to avoid wasting their money on buying fraudulently obtained land. He also said that the newly elected comunidade body would not tolerate illegalities and it would not be responsible for deals made with persons other than the Usgao comunidade.
Prabu further said that, as per the directions of the State Government, the comunidade would conduct a survey of its land as some people were illegally selling plots that had been given to them on lease.
