Vaccination camp in State-run health centres from today

Senior citizens and those between 45 and 59 years with co-morbidities to be inoculated

PANJIM: With an aim to get maximum beneficiaries vaccinated in the State, a two-day mega vaccination camp will be held in all the State-run health centres from Monday for senior citizens above 60 years and those between 45 and 59 years with co-morbidities.

The vaccination of senior citizens above 60 years and those between 45 and 59 years with co-morbidities had begun from March 1, across 37 health centres and private hospitals.  Based on the response and if needed, the camp to be held on Monday and Tuesday will be continued.

“All eligible beneficiaries should avail this opportunity and contact the nearest government health centre to get them vaccinated,” the Directorate of Information and Publicity said in a press statement.

On the spot registration of the beneficiary would be done on production of the photo identity proof.
