VALPOI: The newly elected Rajya Sabha MP and State BJP unit President Vinay Tendulkar has dismissed as rumours the talk of differences between old and new party workers in Valpoi. “It is a rumour spread by the Opposition party,” he said.
Addressing a press conference in Valpoi on Saturday, Tendulkar said, “We are getting a very good response for campaigns in both Valpoi and Panjim constituencies.”
“In Valpoi, there are rumours spreads by the Opposition party that there are differences between old and new BJP workers. There are no differences between them; all are working together, holding each other’s hands,” he said.
Tendulkar claimed that Vishwajit Rane would create history in Valpoi by winning the seat by a huge margin which only Rane would be able to break in future.
He informed that Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar would campaign in Valpoi on August 20 and 21.
General Secretary Sadanand Shet Tanavde said, “Ravi Naik is an expert in making and spreading bad rumours in Goa. Both father and son don’t know the boundary of Valpoi constituency — where it starts and ends.”
