Vasco school burgled

Computers and other accessories worth Rs 1.4 lakh were stolen from Deep Vihar High Secondary School, Headland, Sada Mormugao, between Saturday evening and early Monday morning.
According to Mormugao Police, when the school staff opened the school on Monday morning, they found four computers and other accessories missing from the school.
Since the school was close for Diwali vacation, it was locked since Saturday evening.
Police further informed that some unknown persons damaged the window panes of the school to gain entry and fled away with the booty.
Burglars decamped with four monitors and some keyboards, but they could not carry it with them and left it abandoned on the school terrace.
Mormugao Police has registered a case against unknown persons and is investigating the case.
