VASCO: A laptop belonging to Chetan Sawant, a resident of Zuarinagar, Sancoale, was stolen while he was travelling in the Vasco-Yashwantpur express train, on Thursday.

Sawant in complaint stated that the theft occurred on July 28 at around 9.30 pm when the train had halted at the Vasco Railway Station. The value of the stolen laptop is approximately Rs 1 lakh. It was stolen from his shoulder bag, which the complainant had kept on his seat in the compartment.
The Vasco Railway police have registered the case under Section 303 (2) of the BNS, 2023 and PSI Krishna Talpi is conducting investigations under the guidance of Vasco Railway PI Amarnath Pasi.
