GFP MLA Vijai Sardesai has alleged that Goa lost around ₹52 crore in the name of “ease of doing business” and questioned changes in the criteria for allotment of Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) plots.
The issue led to heated exchanges between Sardesai and Industries Minister Mauvin Godinho in the Goa Legislative Assembly. The situation escalated as Sardesai and AAP MLA Venzy Viegas entered the Well of the House.
