Fatorda MLA Vijai Sardesai has moved an adjournment motion under Rule 68 of the Goa Legislative Assembly, seeking a discussion on what he described as the “serious deterioration and virtual collapse” of law and order in the state.
Sardesai has sought the Assembly’s attention amid what he termed a rise in incidents of murders, shoot-outs, assaults, robberies, thefts and drug-related crimes across Goa.
The adjournment motion seeks a discussion on the prevailing law and order situation and the concerns surrounding the reported increase in criminal incidents in the state.
