VASCO: Several residents from Vasco on Tuesday took out a morcha to protest the incomplete work of Vasco KTC bus stand.
The locals gathered in large number at KTC bus stand with placards questioned the government and the local MLA Carlos Almeida over the incomplete work of KTC bus stand and other pending projects in the port town.
The protestors stressed the need to complete the KTC bus stand project at the earliest with proper illumination, security arrangements, etc.
Meanwhile, Vasco MLA Carlos Almeida during the Chief Minister’s recent visit had stated in public that the work of the bus stand will be taken up in two phases.
“Soon the work will be taken up on war footing,” Almeida had said.
