PANJIM: Office of the Chief Engineer –I, PWD has informed water supply consumers that if there is any discrepancy noted in the bills issued by Public Works Department, they can approach the Assistant Engineer – Water Supply with the bill who will verify the bill and inform the consumer and re-issue bill wherever required which may have occurred due to technical issues.
The department further stated that during this period for all such cases, the consumers may not pay the bills and the arrears will be adjusted in the subsequent bill to be generated.
The department has requested the consumers to kindly note of the same. No water supply connection released by the department will be disconnected for all such cases.
