MARGAO: After Margao Municipal Council (MMC) polls concluded, Goa Forward Party (GFP) president Vijai Sardesai expressed his confidence in his party-backed panel Fatorda Forward’s victory saying, “Fatordkars have taken the first step towards saving Goa, and have voted in favour for a future without the BJP.”

Sardesai thanked all the residents for coming out and exercising their democratic right. “From the youngest to the oldest, Fatordkars have prioritised their future and are looking forward to a Future-Ready Fatorda for their collective development and for the benefit of all Goemkars,” said Sardesai
Sardesai added that his panel has fought this election with determination, and is proud of their efforts in reaching out to each and every resident in Fatorda. Sardesai said, “From day one we reached out to the people, and the people had access to us. Our panel is made up of everyday Fatordkars, who are neighbours and friends of the residents, and are respected and loved by them.”
Vijai pointed out that the voters represented the true essence and purpose of his unity coalition ‘Team Goa’, stating “Team Goa is a people-centric, people-led approach aimed at bringing governance to the people with the approval of the people. The voters of Fatorda have expressed their desire for change and are looking forward to the work and action of Team Goa.”
