Air-conditioner manufacturer Voltas Ltd today said it has formed a joint venture firm with Abu Dhabi-based Universal Group.
Voltas will own 49 per cent stake worth Rs 2.98 crore in joint venture firm — Universal Weathermaker Factory LLC, while the remaining stake will be held by Universal Group.
The JV firm, to be based in Abu Dhabi, would be engaged in the business of manufacturing airconditioning ducts and allied products, the company said in a statement.
