PANJIM: Allaying apprehensions over coronavirus scare during the upcoming Zilla Panchayat elections on March 22, BJP’s Goa president Sadanand Tanavade asked voters not to fear as all the polling stations are well ventilated.
Addressing a press conference in the party head office on Sunday, Tanavade said, “People should come out in large numbers to vote on the day of polling. The Congress is trying to create fear among the people in the name of coronavirus”.

The party president said they have been holding corner meetings on small scale in the run up to the election.
Tanavade said the party has completed two rounds of the campaigning during which they have received tremendous response from the people, who are happy with the performance of Central and State governments.
He said the Opposition was running out of the issues due to which they are forced to rake up issues such as Mhadei water diversion.
