The affected areas are central Margao. Ambaji, Chandrawada, Gavlivada in Fatorda and Borda.
PWD officials have stated that repair work is underway on a war footing and that water supply would be restored within 12 hours.
Water pipeline bursts at Raia
MARGAO: The main water pipeline of 400 mm diameter burst at Arlem- Raia junction on the eastern bypass road, near the Pepsi factory on Thursday night.
