Water restricted to Sanguem, Quepem, Salcete, Mormugao

Water consumers in the four talukas of Sanguem, Quepem, Salcete and Mormugao will have to contend with restricted water supply from the Selaulim water pipeline.
PWD Executive Engineer on Thursday informed that the department has proposed a shut down on the 1422 mm dia MS Selaulim convening main on January 17-18. The shut down has been taken in order to connect the 1422 mm dia MS pipeline at Davorlim-Margao and install flow meter on the pipeline at Xelpem starting point.
The PWD has appealed to the consumers to bear with the inconvenience that will be caused on account of the shut down.
