PERNEM: Pernem Police on Tuesday arrested Safik Subidali Sekh, 24 years old West Bengal native for allegedly killing his colleague at Deulwada, Dhargal.

According to Pernem Police Station Police Inspector Dattaram Raut, the incident occurred on Independence Day between 2 pm and 5.46 pm at Deulwada, Dhargal, where the accused committed the murder of his roommate Dhena Prasanna Tudu (38), who is also a native of West Bengal by assaulting him with a hard and blunt force object over the body and thereby causing his death.
The accused person was apprehended by a police team and brought to the police station. The accused is placed under arrest under Section 302 of IPC. PI Raut is further investigating the case.
