VASCO: Newly appointed Dabolim Airport Director Dhananjaya Rao on Saturday said that he will take steps to further enhance passenger facilitation at Goa.
He also added that as per the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) notification use of face masks are mandatory for passengers, airport staff and others working in the terminal buildings amidst spike in COVID-19 cases.
“Our plans are to facilitate passengers in a better way and to improve the facilities at the airport while taking into consideration all COVID-19 protocols imposed by government,” Rao told media persons.
Stating that use of face masks have become compulsory for all passengers and those working in the airport terminal buildings due to rise in COVID-19 cases, Rao said that all required measures like automatic hand sanitisers, thermal scanners and announcement regarding maintenance of COVID-19 protocols are already put in place at the Dabolim International Airport, wearing masks will be for the benefit of everyone and passengers as well.
