MARGAO: The Goa Vikas Party has exuded confidence of winning three out of the four seats the party has contested in Salcete, saying that issues such as Ghar Wapsi, beef shortage et all had no impact on the electorate from the minority community.
GVP supremo Mickky Pacheco conceded that the situation is not so good for the party candidate in Curtorim, but exuded confidence in winning the seats of Colva, Nuvem and Raia. “I could not concentrate much on Curtorim. I had addressed just one meeting in support of my candidate Anthony Piexote,” he said, adding that party candidates Nelly Rodrigues (Colva), Marcelinho Faria (Nuvem) and Fatima Gaunkar (Raia) will win the election.
