MARGAO: The Margao Carnival Committee 2013 has announced the list of winners in the Carnival float parade.
Committee chairman Gonzaco Rebello said the winners should collect the prizes on February 20 at 4 pm at the Margao Municipal hall, Margao.
The first prize in the Traditional Category was won by float no 53, followed by float no 7, 8, 30 and 6. The consolation prizes have been won by float Nos 83, 31 and 10.
In the Family Category, the prizes have been bagged by float Nos 14, 13, 80, 36 and 46. Consolation prizes were won by float Nos 81, 41, 64, 34 and 72.
In the Clown Category, the first prize went to participant No 22, followed by 24, 78, 25 and 26. Consolation prizes in this category were won by participant Nos 63, 77, 21, 76 and 44.
In the Junk Car Category, the first prize was won by participant No 59, followed by Nos 5, 19, 93 and 61. The three consolation prizes went to participant Nos 51, 38 and 18.
In the Club Category, the first prize went to participant No 50, followed by participant Nos 42, 35, 12 and 45. The two consolation prizes went to participant Nos 37 and 94.
