CURCHOREM: A trip to Goa to celebrate Christmas ended in tragedy for a family from Bangalore, when a 64-year-old woman died and four other family members were injured in a road mishap at Perriuddok-Sanvordem on Thursday.
Curchorem police said, the family along with family friends was travelling from Bangalore via Anmod Ghat in two cars to celebrate Christmas in Goa.
As they reached Perriudok, the driver of one car lost control and hit a roadside tree.
Bithika Nimaychand Audi of Sajapur-Banglore died in the accident, while her son Somesh, his wife Ipshita and their two children, Shresh (7) and Swarnika (4) seriously injured.
