Woman held for hacking into e-mail

PANJIM: A woman was arrested for allegedly hacking into the email account of a senior RTO official to circulate offensive and hatred mail against the department bosses. She was later released on bail.

The cyber crime cell took action based on a complaint filed by the RTO official claiming his email account was hacked into.
The woman, reportedly the wife of another RTO official executed the crime from a cyber cafe. “We tracked the IP address and related details, and zeroed in on her. The hatred and offensive mails named director, deputy director and other officials,” a cyber cell official told Herald.
