MARGAO: Colva Police have registered a case against one Violet Alphonso, a resident of Cavelossim, for allegedly assaulting a line helper of the electricity department at 11 pm.
According to the police, Violet had gone to the electricity department office at Carmona last night to complain about power failure. However, she began abusing the line helper Sachin Nalkar, resident of Vasco, who was on duty and also slapped the government servant.
Police have registered a case under Sections 504 and 353 of the Indian Penal Code against the lady.
