PANJIM: Goa State Infrastructure Development (GSIDC) is working on the proposal for an integrated education complex at Davorlim to house schools with high enrollment from Margao and Navelim, thus decongesting the town.
Land measuring 1.15 lakh sqm has been demarcated for the project, which will be built along the lines of the complex at Cujira.
GSIDC chairman Deepak Pawaskar said the corporation is working on the proposal and the estimated cost of the project. “We intend to start the work next year,” he said.
It is expected that schools with higher enrolment located in Margao will be moved to Davorlim in the first phase.
