MARGAO: The work of restoring CCTVs in Margao has begun by way of laying new cables ensuring the connections to the surveillance system.
The work has been entrusted to the same contractor who undertook the installation.
The District Collector held a review meeting on Tuesday regarding the overall law and order situation. A separate meeting only on the CCTV system for Margao will be held later on. The Chief Officer of Margao Municipal Council, Agnelo Fernandes added that he expects to the CCTV to resume functioning in a week or two.
