PONDA: A 20-year-old youth from Odisha suffered injuries after a hot melting substance fell on his body while working at an iron manufacturing factory, based in Kundaim Industrial Estate.
The incident took place on Saturday night at around 11 pm. The labourer was immediately shifted to GMC, Bambolim and is undergoing treatment.According to sources, the workers are not provided with the required safety equipment, which pose a direct threat to their life.
