QUEPEM: Goa Football Development Council (GFDC) Member Secretary Elvis Gomes distributed football kits to 65 U-14 players from Ambaulim in the presence of Fr Ubaldo Fernandes, Parish Priest of Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Ambaulim and Micky Fernandes, football player from Quepem.
The kit distribution function for the Ambaulim Football Development Centre was organized at the Our Lady of Lourdes Church hall, Ambaulim, on Saturday.
Speaking on the occasion, Gomes commended the young players and encouraged them to avail of the benefits and technical support provided by the GFDC.
Fr Fernandes urged the parents to provide proper nutrition to their children and to take maximum benefits of the coaching camps.
Earlier, parishioner Paulo Fernandes welcomed the function and later proposed the vote of thanks.
