VALPOI: A youth attempting to end his life by jumping into a well at Sanvordem on Friday failed as the water in the well was shallow. On seeing the youth, the villagers immediately raised an alarm and called the Valpoi Fire and Emergency Services, who reached the spot on time and rescued the youth.
Locals claim that the youth is alcoholic.
