The creative tiatr written by Fr Nevel L S Gracias then
shows a modern day real life situation involving a group of youngsters. Franco
(Rupesh Jogle) is an ambitious college student involved in drug trade; Brian (Johan
Godinho) is involved in destroying streets lights of the village to promote his
own interest; Robert (Bernard Noronha) spends his time drinking and taking part
in riots and Jasmine (Jasmine Rodrigues e Estibeiro) is a troublemaker.
Franco, Brian, Robert and Jasmine all decide to stone the
college premises. But Prof Inacio Saldhana (Tennyson Xavier Fernandes) opposes
their evil plans by standing like a rock. He brings about a change in their
life by making them realise the good qualities in them. Franco is encouraged to
change his life by these words of the professor: “Franco, What profits a man if
he gains the whole world but loses his soul?”
Years later, Prof Saldhana, while visiting an orphanage,
bumps into Franco who is now a priest. The professor is delighted to hear that
Fr Franco now runs the orphanage. Fr Franco thanks the professor for playing
the important role of Ignatius de Loyola in his life which led to his
transformation.
Comedy by the unsung comedian of the Konknni stage, Rafael
Rodrigues has the audience in splits. Excellent acting and singing by Albert
Cabral, Natasha Noronha, Inoshka Fernandes, Johan Godinho, Jude Rodrigues and
Bernard Noronha convey an important message to the audience. Kala Academy Best
Actor Award winner on multiple occasions Rupesh Jogle as Goycho Saib and as Fr
Franco and Tennyson Xavier Fernandes in his debut performance as Ignatius de
Loyola, Prof Inacio Saldhana and a black magic man deliver outstanding
performances.
