MAPUSA: The 13th Indian National Sports Aerobics, Fitness and Hip-hop Championship is being held at the Badminton Hall at Peddem Sports Complex, Mapusa from October 11 to 13.
The Indian Sports Aerobics and Fitness Federation (ISAFF) will be organizing this event but it will hosted by the Goa body. ISAFF was established in 2002 and has 22 state associations registered as members to this body. They regularly carry out various district, state and national level championships and at the same time participate in international events.
“Sports aerobics and fitness is currently followed and practiced in all continents of the world and is already popular among the other sports. Around 646 athletes, 20 judges, 23 officials, 44 coaches and choreographers have confirmed their participation along with their respective teams. The teams have to report on October 11 but the opening ceremony of this championship will be held on October 12,” he told at a press briefing at Mapusa on Thursday.
