Aaditya, Pahel steal limelight at Nat school chess

PANJIM: Aaditya Jagadeesh of Tamil Nadu secured 5.5 points to emerge champion in under-17 open category while Maharashtrian Pahel Sharma earned full six points in the under-5 girls category to bag first place on the second day of the 4th National School Games Championship 2015 underway at Sun Grace Garden, Bethora-Ponda.

Shabdhik Varma of Karnataka and Athul Krishna S of Kerala won the second and third place in the under 17 open category while Trisha Jagtap and Iksha Soni both of Maharastra were the second and third place winners in the under-5 girls category. 
Avani Parab of Goa was placed seventh in the under-5 girls category with three points.
In the other categories, Rajdeep Sarkar of West Bengal (5.5 points) is leading in under-15 open category while Shane Braganza of Goa is placed seventh with 4.5 points. 
In under-15 girls, Aditee Prabhugaonkar (4 points), Aishwarya Thorat (3.5 points) were placed fifth and eight respectively.
Krishnater Kaushager (5 points) is leading in the under-13 open category while Barath M of Goa is placed seventh with 4.5 points. 
In under-13 girls category, Riddhi Zantye of Goa is leading with 5.5 points. WCM Swera Braganca is placed eight with four points.
FM Pragganandha R of Tamil Nadu (5.5 points) is leading in under-11 open category. 
In under-11 girls category, Mrudul Dehankar (5.5 points) of Maharastra is leading while WCM Gunjal Chopdekar (5 points) of Goa is placed second while Alaina Periera of Goa is placed sixth with 4.5 points.
Pranav V of Tamil Nadu (5.5 points) is leading in under-9 open category while CM Leon Mendonca of Goa is placed sixth with 4.5 points. In the girls category, Harshavardhini M. S (5.5 points) of Puducherry is leading while Alaya Vella D’Cruz of Goa is placed sixth with 4.5 points.
Namish Sharma of Delhi (5.0 points) is leading in under-7 open category while Joy Kakokdkar is placed seventh with 4 points. In the girls category, Anupam M Sreekumar is leading with (5.5 points).
