MAPUSA: ABC Arambol outplayed Nerul Sports Club 5-1 to book their place in the semi-finals of Saligao Super Soccer 2025 organised by Saligao United, at Vagator ground, on Friday.
Nerul SC scored early in the match as a corner from Royston Pereira which was headed in the box, fell to the feet of Sainath Kalangutkar who slotted it in.
In the 18th minute, ABC Arambol gave a response as they equalised with a super strike from Vignesh Palni from the left flank which dipped in, leaving the Nerul SC goalkeeper with no chance to make the save.
Ten minutes later, Shankar Shetye made it 2-1 in favour of ABC Arambol as his dribbled his way through to finish the move he started. After the breather, ABC Arambol kept the pressure.
In the 39th minute, Vaibhav Naik made it 3-1. Three minutes later, substitute Prathamesh Naik headed one in to make it 4-1.
And lastly in the 59th minute, another substitute for ABC Arambol Amit Kambli just as he came in, scored for his team to seal the victory.
