PANJIM: ABC Arambol got the better of Saligao United 6-5 via the tie-breaker in the Rosary Cup soccer tournament, Mandrem, on Wednesday.
Saligao United took the lead in the 10th minute through Nester Dias. In the second half in the 38th minute, Reneil D’Mello equalized for ABC Arambol off a great volley. Both the teams were locked on 1-1 at the end of the regulation time.

In the tie-breaker ABC Arambol won by 5-4 For ABC Arambol Vinay Harji, Reniel D’Mello, Sanford Fernandes, Jagannath Somji Sanchet Gawade scored for ABC Arambol while Nester Dias, Chanel Fernandes, Paulo Joao, Latesh Mandrekar found the net for Saligao United. Dietmar Fernandes was handed the man-of-the-match award by Sarvesh Mavlankar sect. of Dunes Sports Club.
